Felix Saunders

Felix Saunders is a singer songwriter that hails from the Western Isles. He plays the kind of music that is usually heard in smoky back rooms as the sun comes up. Where people spill their most vulnerable secrets and try to wash them away with each drink they take.

This solo project shows a completely different side to Felix’s song-writing and playing – He is also known as the singer and guitarist with dirty blues rock power trio The Howling Lords.

Felix is influenced by a huge spectrum of music. Cutting his teeth on DIY punk ethics while playing bass and guitar in various bands through the years, he took the lessons from each project with him on his journey. He is as comfortable listening to the likes of music masters such as Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Kris Kristofferson and B.B. King as he is listing to more contemporary acts such as 21 Pilots, Beck, Kamasi Washington and John Moreland and is always keeping his ears open for new sounds.
